Caloric Stone
A consumable World Item once obtained by Ainz Ooal Gown, of the "make a wish to the operator" type; already used.
- How to obtain: gather large amounts of seven-colored ore (an ultra-ultra-rare metal) and make set amounts of each ore disappear (Vol. 11)
- The metal required was so vast that mines had to be occupied; the guild's mine was later taken, so only one was obtained and plans for a second came to nothing
- Already used and no longer in the guild's hands; the author's Twitter confirmed it is not one of the Twenty
- Its use was still undecided as of Vol. 15; Vol. 6 mentioned the topic of using it to enhance golems or gear
- In the mobile game event "Spa Resort Nazarick", the lizardmen's lake grows warmer and the protagonist suspects a Caloric Stone is in it, hinting that it gives off great heat (game setting)
Notes
Japanese source "World Items": its exact effect is unknown; it is a consumable World Item for "wishing" to the operator. Some readers suspected a link to the dwarves' "heat ore", but the mobile game OVERLORD: MASS FOR THE DEAD denied this.
