Cry of the Banshee

嘆きの妖精の絶叫（クライ・オブ・ザ・バンシー） · Magic & Power Systems · Key Spells & Skills

An area instant-death spell in which a woman's scream carrying an instant-death effect spreads out like ripples.

• In Vol. 3, after activating "The Goal of All Life is Death," Ainz cast it with 〈Widen Magic〉, instantly killing everything within a 200 m diameter; it had no effect on Shalltear herself or her Einherjar, but destroyed her other summons
• If widening doubles it, the original range is about 100 m in diameter (unverified)
• Other sources say that once widened it affects 100 m around the caster
• Source: 3-373; one of Ainz's known learned spells
• Ainz's other instant-death spells include 〈Grasp Heart〉 (9th tier, inflicts stun even if resisted, 1-219) and 〈True Death〉 (9th tier, prevents revival by low-tier resurrection magic, 9-411)
