Healing Potions

YGGDRASIL's red Minor Healing Potion is called "the blood of god" in the New World, where blue potions are the norm.
- Minor Healing Potion (red): restores 50 HP, and its positive energy harms undead; everyone had them in the game, but Lizzie appraised one at 32 gold coins (Vol. 2)
- New World blue potions come in three kinds: herbs only (not instant), herbs plus magic, and alchemical solution plus magic (instant but expensive—about 2 gold coins for 1st tier, about 8 for 2nd tier)
- Blue potions degrade over time and need preservation magic
- Legend says the perfect potion is red like "the blood of god"; the Slane Theocracy has a secret technique for making "blood of god" potions
- Using the solution and herbs Ainz provided, the Bareare family developed a purple potion as effective as alchemical potions, circulated only in Carne Village (Vol. 8)
- By Vol. 16 the Bareare family had succeeded in making red potions, and the purple ones have now become rare instead
- The classification and prices of blue potions come from manga Vol. 2 supplement C-6; New World potions settle, and only the herb-free alchemical-solution version has no sediment
- In the Web novel, the Minor Healing Potion ingredients Momo (Momon) told Lizzie include Vivolon stone, golden elixir, Zolie solution, and lynx stone (Web "Kentou-2")
- Nazarick also has a potion that completely removes fatigue, in an elegant bottle; Ainz used it on the haggard Nfirea (13-156)
Notes
In the Web novel, Lizzie offered 60,000 gold coins for the red potion's recipe and, when refused, even threatened with 3rd-tier magic.
