Perfect Unknowable
A 9th-tier spell—the ultimate invisibility that erases even sound and presence; it ends upon attacking and can only be cast on oneself.
- 9th tier: hides not only the body but all sound and presence; the effect ends once you attack (Vol. 11)
- Cannot be cast on others; Mare does not know it; it can be sealed in scrolls and staves but not wands (unless using a "wish to the operator" World Item)
- In YGGDRASIL it was considered a spell for facing large numbers of lower-level enemies; opponents at Momonga's level often had ways to see through it, so it was usually not learned and substituted with consumables
- Drains MP continuously while maintained; among the Pleiades only Lupusregina can see through Perfect Unknowable without items (Vol. 13); druids can learn a spell that sees through it (Vol. 16)
- In the BD bonus novel Prologue (Part 2), Momonga combined it with [Remote Viewing] to scout; the light novel source is Vol. 11
Notes
Sources list it among "spells with high MP consumption" (while the effect lasts).
