Shooting Star
An ultra-rare cash-shop ring Ainz won by blowing his entire bonus; it can cast the super-tier spell [Wish Upon a Star] three times without spending experience.
- Casts [Wish Upon a Star] three times with no experience cost, usable even by non-casters (Vol. 3)
- In the game it gave better results than the spell version: up to 10 options at once, with zero activation time
- After the transfer the spell's effect grew stronger, allowing up to 500% (5 levels lost) to be spent for bigger wishes; extra experience can be spent when activating via the ring
- Ainz poured his whole bonus into the gacha to get it, while someone else got it on the first pull (Vol. 1)
- In Vol. 3 Ainz considered using it to undo Shalltear's brainwashing, but World Item effects override [Wish Upon a Star] (Vol. 3, summary, unverified)
- The one who "got it on the first pull" was Yamaiko, spending only a lunch's worth of money (1-045); in the side story The Vampire Princess of the Lost Country she gave it to Momonga without using it once (side story-123, 133)
- Usually worn on his right index finger (3-263)
Notes
The pang Ainz feels whenever he recalls "the entire bonus" is a classic depiction of his everyman nature.
