Personality
A slender, shrill-voiced homosexual man who speaks in an effeminate, campy manner. He hates Renner to the core, calling her "the most infuriating bitch in the world"; as fellow Eight Fingers division heads, he and Hilma are on familiar terms (other sources say they call each other "partner" (unverified)).
Abilities
- Runs the slave trade and brothel business, but his division has steadily declined since Renner pushed to outlaw the slave trade
- Gets by through connections and bribes; even while jailed he kept sending money to the prison staff, so he was not treated too badly
History
- Because a woman the brothel was supposed to dispose of caused trouble, he borrows Succulent from Zero as a guard at the division heads' meeting (Vol. 5)
- The brothel is destroyed by Sebas, Brain, and Climb; he is knocked out by Sebas and taken into custody, and thereafter stays in jail for a long time (Vol. 5)
- Being in jail, he escapes Nazarick's "baptism", and the other division heads, who have already submitted to Nazarick, call him lucky (after the Demonic Disturbance in the Royal Capital)
- Rescued by the Eight Fingers when the Kingdom frees prisoners as soldiers to resist the Sorcerer Kingdom; noticing his colleagues are acting strangely, he grows suspicious, but in the end Shalltear takes him to Nazarick for the baptism, and his colleagues trust he will "join them alive" (Vol. 14)
Trivia
His real name "Ampetif" was not revealed until Vol. 14; he hosted the special preview in anime season 4 episode 11, 29 episodes after his previous appearance.
