Usually a likable old man, but in fact extremely cautious—he taps the stones many times before crossing a bridge. He has missed out on profitable jobs because of this, but has never lost a single comrade, and his teammates trust him deeply.

- Treating the other three teams as "canaries," his team first investigates the surface; fighting hard against three Nazarick Old Guarders there, his team is the first to vanish

Having lost almost all his front teeth, he can't pronounce voiced sounds (saying "sha" and "te" for "ja" and "de"); anime season 3 revealed his team's name, "Dragon Hunt."
