Quaiesse Hazeia Quintia

Seat 5 of the Black Scripture, "One-Man Army," Clementine's older brother · Slane Theocracy · Human · Lv Unknown
Personality
Always wearing a gentle smile, courteous and skilled at negotiation, he apologizes repeatedly on behalf of rude colleagues (unverified). Lakyus sees him as a "gentle pretty boy," while Azuth sees through him as "a man with a fake smile." When the being they revere is insulted he instantly leaks killing intent, yet he can still regain his composure first and restrain his comrades.
Abilities
- In the Web novel he summons and commands magical beasts such as Gigant Basilisks; he is said to be able to command at least ten monsters that only hero-class fighters could defeat (the origin of the name "One-Man Army")
- In the Web novel he is called the strongest Beast Tamer, unmatched by any other Black Scripture member when it comes to "annihilation" (Web novel)
- Wears rings on all ten fingers, in which he stores the magical beasts he has tamed
- Excellent negotiation and field-command skills; he failed to recruit the Blue Roses and Crimson Drop but succeeded with other adventurer teams (14-324)
History
- He was favored by their parents over his younger sister Clementine, who was constantly compared with him; the phrase "the other half of Quintia" (クインティアの片割れ) appears in a conversation between Clementine and Khajiit (Vol. 2)
- Presumed to have been in the Black Scripture unit escorting Kaire, retreating with the unit after the encounter with Shalltear (Vols. 3–4)
- After war breaks out between the Kingdom and the Sorcerous Kingdom, he leads Seats 10 through 12 in secretly recruiting adventurers in the capital; the Blue Roses and Azuth of "Crimson Drop" both decline, but many other teams accept (Vol. 14)
- When Azuth mentions "Rufus" (possibly Surshana's first attendant), his comrades bristle with killing intent, but he is the first to regain composure, restrains them and leaves, saying he will report to his superiors (Vol. 14); some sources say Azuth hinted that this being is undead and Quaiesse judged it a bluff (unverified)
Trivia
In the Web novel he mistook Ainz for Surshana, the God of Death, and wept with emotion.
