Personality
Outwardly cold and barely moved by the deaths of comrades, she often says she "wants to taste defeat" and "would marry anyone who can beat me", but when she speaks smiling she is usually hiding her true feelings. Abused through her mother's brutal training as a child, she is lonely inside; in Vols. 15 and 16 she also shows feelings toward a servile comrade, a devotion that would risk her life for her homeland, and fear of the Sorcerer King's cunning.
Abilities
- The strongest being in the Slane Theocracy, never defeated, surpassing even the God-kin captain; she could put up a decent fight against the level-100 Mare (though Mare deliberately did not use his favoured attack magic and wore unfamiliar equipment) (Vol. 16)
- Wields the war scythe "Charon's Guidance" of Surshana, God of Darkness, with which she can unleash necromantic abilities such as Death and summon monsters; she wears the Armour of the Wind God
- A talent among the continent's top ten: used on a weapon, it lets her wield the greatest power of its former owner, through which she activates "The goal of all life is death"
- Can use divine healing magic up to the 3rd tier, and has mastered many martial arts such as Greater Evasion, Greater Ability Boost and Flowing Water Acceleration
History
- Her mother, once the Theocracy's trump card, was abducted and raped by the Elf King Decem Hougan, became pregnant and was rescued; she grew up under her mother's cold training, and because of this the Theocracy went to war with the elf nation, formerly its ally
- On her appearance in Vol. 4 she plays with a Rubik's cube while asking the captain who is stronger, she or the mysterious vampire (Shalltear), and loses interest on learning she is stronger
- Vol. 15: With the rise of the Sorcerer Kingdom the Theocracy decides on a swift decisive war and sends her to the elf nation to assassinate the Elf King
- Vol. 16: She infiltrates the royal palace and finds her biological father; disappointed that he does not even recognise her, she kills him with her own hands
- She then fights Mare and loses, is taken back to Nazarick's Frozen Prison and interrogated; from this Ainz learns that it was the Black Scripture that brainwashed Shalltear, summons Albedo and decides to destroy the Theocracy
Trivia
Her real name was revealed only in the character profile at the back of Vol. 16; until then readers always called her the "Extra Seat". Her favourite food is the soft, fluffy omelette made by the late Auntie Nazaire (Vol. 15).
