Depiction of Nature and Society

A giant scroll-type World Item held by Aura that can isolate a target area inside one of 100 kinds of alternate space.
- Choose one of 100 alternate spaces to cover the target area; it can add effects such as continuous fire damage, lightning, or dense fog, with the user choosing whom the effects target (Vol. 11)
- Battlefield-type spaces can summon reinforcements (about 60% of the opponent's strength) or an equal number of strong fighters (about 80% of the user's strength)
- Except for certain spaces, each activation randomly sets one of 40 escape methods; if the opponent escapes, ownership of the item passes to them
- Ainz Ooal Gown originally took the scroll from a hostile guild by escaping in exactly this way, and was flooded with requests to return it
- World Item holders are not pulled in when the space unfolds but can choose to enter later; the user can exploit this time gap to find out who holds a World Item
- In Vol. 11 Aura used it on the Quagoa in the Azerlisia Mountains—the first use of a guild World Item after the transfer
- It usually hangs at Aura's waist (3-315) and is unrolled when used (11-401); sources infer from this that gaining a World Item's "World's Protection" may require touching the item directly rather than keeping it in inventory (unverified)
Notes
Some sources say it alludes to the Chinese legend of Wu Daozi walking into his painting; in Investiture of the Gods, Nüwa's treasure is also called Shanhe Sheji Tu. The official English translation is "Scenes of Nature and Civilization".
