A wide-area instant-death super-tier spell that also summons level-90+ "Dark Young" according to the number of dead.
- After a black breath sweeps through (though there is actually no wind), living creatures within the area die instantly
- It then summons several Dark Young according to the number of dead; normally summoning even one is good, and the upper limit in the books seems to be five
- Vol. 9, Katze Plains: Ainz used it to kill 70,000 of the Kingdom army's left wing instantly, summoning five Dark Young and beginning the Massacre
- A flashy spell, very popular in YGGDRASIL
- Nearly ineffective against lifeless beings such as undead and golems
- Dark Young (level 91+): like a turnip over 10 m tall, with leaves of writhing black tentacles, a lump-of-flesh root bearing several mouths that let out cute goat bleats, and five black-hoofed goat legs; no powerful special abilities, but outstanding durability
Notes
In the side story The Vampire Princess of the Lost Country it is used together with "The Goal of All Life is Death," instantly killing over 400,000 and summoning five Dark Young. The name comes from Shub-Niggurath of the Cthulhu Mythos.
