An intelligent (talking) item made in the New World; it aids in controlling undead, casts necromantic spells several times a day, and manipulates its human holder.

- Sensing Ainz's absolute aura of "death", it swore loyalty; it now sits in Hamsuke's cheek pouch and occasionally talks

It refers to itself with an archaic "I"; the anime and the films cut its talking and its oath of loyalty. In the Web novel, after failing to dominate Narberal, it was given to her.
