3rd Tier
The usual upper limit for skilled magic casters in the New World; under the seven-levels-per-tier theory it corresponds to levels 15–21.
- Signature spells: [Fireball] (area attack, range estimated at about 100 m) and [Lightning] (pierces targets in a straight line, even through buildings)
- [Dimensional Move]: short-range teleportation, regarded locally as an escape spell for gaining distance
- [Create Undead]: creates undead using corpses as a medium; with the Orb of Death, Khajiit can create several at once
- [Summon Angel 3rd] summons an Archangel Flame; Crusch uses [Summon Beast 3rd]
- Arche can already use the 3rd tier, with [Lightning] as her strongest move; Narberal also uses [Lightning] often
- The spiritual spell that determines whether someone has a talent is also at this tier
- [Fly]: envelops the whole body in a magic membrane to fly through the air; not on the druid's spell list (Vol. 1)
- [Haste], [Sunlight] (damages and blinds undead), [Holy Light] (damages evil enemies), [Heavy Recover], [Hot Spring] (everyday magic), [Slow]
- [Lopsided Duel]: when the opponent escapes by teleportation, the caster can follow, ignoring [Delay Teleportation]; it could initially be cast on allies but was later patched to work only on enemies (Vol. 16)
- [Summon Monster 3rd]: Envario summoned a black wolf wreathed in flames and breathing sulfurous breath (bonus novel The Ghost Ship of the Katze Plains)
