9th Tier
A tier entered only by high-level players and NPCs; under the seven-levels-per-tier theory it corresponds to levels 57–63.
- Signature spell: 〈Grasp Heart〉 — an instant-death spell that crushes the heart, inflicting stun even if resisted
- 〈True Death〉: prevents resurrection by low-tier resurrection magic; Ainz killed Gazef with it
- 〈Vermilion Nova〉: the highest single-target fire attack short of super-tier magic; 〈Call Greater Thunder〉: the highest single-target lightning spell
- 〈Nuclear Blast〉: somewhat weak damage, but among the largest areas of effect of any spell, with knockback, poison, blindness and more
- 〈Perfect Unknowable〉, 〈Temporal Stasis〉, 〈True Resurrection〉, 〈Greater Rejection〉 and others
- Decem is the first local confirmed to be able to use 9th- and 10th-tier magic
- 〈Elemental Form〉: an upgrade similar to 〈Aspect of Elemental〉 (Vol. 16); 〈Tempest〉 (Vol. 16); 〈Crack in the Ground〉: divine magic in which a fissure traps the target like a bear trap, with effects such as instant death (side story)
- 〈Polar Claw〉: the highest-damage cold spell, with no added effects; 〈Mist of Super Acid〉 (10th tier) deals the most damage to the Platinum Dragon Lord's platinum armor — the Ainz played by Pandora's Actor cannot use either (Vol. 14)
- 〈Bless of Titania〉 and 〈Lead of Yatagarasu〉: respectively show a low-danger route and the shortest route straight to the heart of a dungeon (BD bonus novel)
- 〈Greater Rejection〉 can only banish summoned beings, not beings produced by creation-type abilities (Vols. 3 and 16)
