Leader of the Thirteen Heroes

Leader of the Thirteen Heroes · Thirteen Heroes · Human (unverified) · Lv Unknown
Personality
At first just a weak ordinary man, he kept swinging his sword no matter how badly he was hurt, and ultimately became the strongest. A good person, willing to help others (unverified); after killing his fellow player companion with his own hands he was deeply shaken and carried a heavy sense of guilt.
Abilities
- "Infinite growth": leveled up all the way from a low level to become the strongest of the Thirteen Heroes
- Possessed YGGDRASIL knowledge; according to Japanese sources, the Platinum Dragon Lord mentioned that "they" (generally understood by readers as the Leader's group) once held two World Items
- His main weapon was an unnamed sword
- Web novel: the Platinum Dragon Lord once lent him the Eight Greed Kings' guild weapon as a sign of trust (unverified)
History
- About 200 years ago he led the band of heroes that fought the Demon Gods; he traveled with a companion who was also a "player" (whether they were transferred together is not stated in the original)
- Reportedly, his seven-person party defeated an offshoot of the evil tree in the Great Forest of Tob after a hard fight and named it "Zy'tl Q'ae" (from a drama CD)
- Told his companions that "she" slumbers at the lowest level of the Sea City
- Midway through the journey he killed his fellow player companion, then died himself (presumably suicide) and refused to be resurrected (Vol. 7 p. 280)
- Vol. 7: Rigrit and the Platinum Dragon Lord lament that his early death meant he could not pass on all his YGGDRASIL knowledge
- Vol. 14: The Platinum Dragon Lord's armor acts under the name "Rik Aganeia", and his inner monologue ("my hands are already dirty", "am I to repeat the same thing?") implies he once deliberately killed someone named "Riku"; many readers believe that was the Leader's name (unverified)
Trivia
The names he gave and things he mentioned (Zy'tl Q'ae, "she" sleeping at the lowest level of the Sea City) are full of Cthulhu Mythos references, important circumstantial evidence that he was a player.
