Orlando Campano
One of the Holy Kingdom's Nine Colors / fortress squad leader · Roble Holy Kingdom · Human · Lv Unknown
Personality
Hates taking orders and respects only the strong, always challenging people to "a little bout." He has been demoted as many as ten times for punching superiors and nobles. Yet he sincerely respects anyone who has beaten him, and his rough style has drawn a band of followers who call him "Squad Leader, sir."
Abilities
- Granted a seat among the Nine Colors by the previous Holy King on sheer ability
- Has a skill that delivers a blow of several times normal power at the cost of destroying the weapon, which is why he wears eight identical one-handed swords at his waist
- Once clashed head-on with Buser the Grand King; though all his weapons were destroyed, he held out until reinforcements arrived and drove him off
History
- When young and hot-blooded, he lost a close-combat mock battle to Pabel and has since regarded him as the man he most respects in the Holy Kingdom (12-017); now he can beat Pabel in close combat alone
- Vol. 12: Was on the wall with Pabel when Jaldabaoth attacked
- When Pabel is killed by [Meteor Fall], in grief and rage he leaps from the wall and charges the enemy leader
- Jaldabaoth does not regard him as a threat at all, and he dies ("commanded by a dominating voice to kill himself with his own sword" is unverified); his body is taken away by Jaldabaoth
Trivia
Although one of the Nine Colors, he is not a regular career soldier of the Holy Kingdom; at his first appearance his rank is merely "squad leader," fourth from the bottom.
