Charon's Guidance

The war scythe held by the Extra Seat, said to have been used by the death god Surshana; a legacy of the Six Great Gods fit to be called a "divine weapon" in the New World.
- A large war scythe like a cross-spear, with crescent blades spreading left and right like wings plus one thrusting blade (Vol. 16)
- Made from a rare metal not yet found even in the Theocracy; its toughness and lethality are second to none in the New World
- Can cast [Death] twice every 8 hours; can also choose from 8 abilities—[Undead Flame], [Undead Repulsion], [Create Undead], [Disease], [Undead Repose], [Evil Eye], [Death Mask], [Hand of Glory]—for a combined 5 uses every 4 hours (16-293)
- Can summon a total of 30 special undead "Spartoi" every 24 hours, up to 5 at once
- The Extra Seat uses her talent to draw on its original owner's power and triggered "The Goal of All Life is Death"
- Another account: after the battle at the elven royal castle in Vol. 16, both the weapon and its wielder went to the Sorcerer Kingdom (unverified)
- Appearance described at 16-287: crescent blades spreading like wings left and right, plus one thrusting blade extending the shaft
Notes
Charon is the ferryman of Greek mythology who carries souls across the river of the dead; this scythe could not cut through Mare's formal-wear armor (unverified).
