Crown of Wisdom

One of the Slane Theocracy's supreme treasures and the symbol of the Priestess Princesses; it seals the wearer's self and turns them into a tool that only casts ultra-high-tier magic.
- Appearance: fine metal threads like a spider web studded with countless small gems, with a large crystal-like gem at the center of the brow; cannot be made in YGGDRASIL's system
- Only one in a million is compatible, and she must be female; only the Theocracy, which keeps family registers, can find them
- Once worn it cannot be safely removed—taking it off causes madness, and the only way is to destroy it; maddened former Priestess Princesses are "sent to the gods' side" by the Black Scripture
- With a grand ritual it can cast spells two or more tiers above the caster; up to 8th tier has been confirmed
- Clementine stole one from the Theocracy; in Vol. 2 Khajiit used it on Nfirea to make him cast 7th-tier magic
- The Earth Priestess Princess died in an explosion caused by Ainz's offensive barrier in Vol. 4
- The 6 Priestess Princesses (fire, water, wind, earth, light, dark) each wear one, and all can use 5th-tier divine magic (Web setting); in the Web novel the Water Priestess Princess cast 8th tier using a grand ritual and [Magic Ascension]
- A grand ritual needs a core caster able to use 5th tier and [Magic Ascension], plus many participants able to use 3rd tier; an ordinary grand ritual can only raise two tiers
- The one Clementine stole bears a black gem, from which sources infer it was stolen from the Dark Priestess Princess (2-094); the Water Priestess Princess's in the Web novel bears a blue gem
Notes
A note in Japanese sources: the reading "gakkan" may be a typo for the correct "gakukan". Nfirea could use it because of his talent "can use any item".
