Nazarick Revitalization Plan -Mock Battle-

ナザリック再生計画-擬戦- · World & History · Battles & Events

An original event story in the mobile game MASS FOR THE DEAD (first run September 25, 2019; rerun October 2020 and February 2023, unverified), not part of the novels: Momonga holds a defense drill in a mock Nazarick, personally playing the invader. (mobile game)

(mobile game) As Nazarick's revitalization proceeds, Momonga worries whether they could cope if a new "Rift" suddenly appeared, so he gathers the Guardians and announces a defense exercise simulating a Rift's appearance
(mobile game) The venue is a mock Nazarick; six Guardians defend while Momonga leads an undead force as the invaders; victory is judged by the YGGDRASIL gold coins given to the Guardians and the coins inside a "Momonga-sama doll" placed on the throne
(mobile game) The Guardians defend the floors in pairs: Shalltear and Cocytus the upper floors, Aura and Mare the 6th floor, Albedo and Demiurge the 10th floor
(mobile game) Momonga first sends masses of undead from the surface and jams [Message] communications; Albedo and Demiurge abandon the 10th floor and take the doll to reinforce the 6th
(mobile game) The apparently cornered Albedo and Demiurge are actually decoys—doppelgängers borrowed from Momonga; the real pair lead their subordinates in a surprise attack from behind, turning the battle and defeating the on-site commander, an Elder Lich
(mobile game) Finally Momonga takes the field himself and defeats all six Guardians, but Albedo, holding the real doll separately, holds out to the end, and when time runs out the defenders win
(mobile game) A few days later Demiurge drafts a new defense system based on the exercise; the truth of the Rifts remains a subject for future investigation

Notes

The official note for the rerun says the battle content and rewards were adjusted, but the story was unchanged (unverified).
