Vol. 3, night of day 10 of Year 1 after the transfer: the team of iron-rank adventurer Brita, scouting the hideout of the mercenary band "Death-Spreading Sword Gang", ran into Shalltear, who had just massacred the band, and was nearly wiped out.

• Brita is an iron-rank adventurer based in E-Rantel, a red-haired female warrior; her team encountered the vampire while scouting a bandit nest
• After wiping out the bandits and the Death-Spreading Sword Gang's hideout, Shalltear fell into a "blood frenzy" and let both the fleeing Brain and one ranger among the adventurers escape
• Brita threw the red potion Momon had given her at Shalltear; the potion made Shalltear realize Brita was connected to Ainz, so she spared her (unverified)
• The escaped ranger returned to E-Rantel to report, and the Adventurers Guild planned a team to investigate the mysterious vampire, but was swamped when the cemetery incident broke out
• Pursuing the escapees, Shalltear ran into the Black Scripture, triggering the "Black Scripture Skirmish"
• After her team's near-annihilation, Brita quit adventuring and moved to Carne Village, studying under the village's ranger Lachmon; she is now active as a ranger and also leads the village's self-defense corps
