Over Magic
A metamagic unique to the New World: spending enormous mana to force out a spell one tier above one's own ability, or two tiers with a grand ritual.
- Cocytus did not recognize it, so it is presumed not to exist in YGGDRASIL
- The Slane Theocracy uses the "Crown of Wisdom" in grand rituals to raise the tier further
- In Vol. 2 Nfirea, forced to wear the Crown of Wisdom, used its power to cast the 7th-tier 〈Undeath Army〉
- In Vol. 4, when the lizardmen fought Nazarick, Green Claw chieftain Shasuryu Shasha used 〈Over Magic〉 to force out 〈Mass Cure Light Wounds〉, which he normally couldn't cast, and Cocytus did not recognize this enhancement (4-396)

- A grand ritual requires someone who can use the 5th tier and 〈Over Magic〉 at its core, plus many participants who can use the 3rd tier, so usually only nations with national-level support magic casters can manage it
