Spiritual Magic
The school that uses "spirit" (willpower) as its casting stat, akin to Eastern magic such as talisman arts and shrine maidens.
- The 3rd-tier spell that determines whether someone has a talent belongs to the spiritual school
- Fluder is a rare figure who studies the arcane, divine and spiritual schools
- The work rarely describes specific spiritual casters; Nazarick's monster Ukanomitama (level 85) uses spiritual magic heavily
- Definition in the Japanese sources' "Tier Magic" page: the spiritual school is "a line for which willpower is important as the casting stat, Eastern magic such as talisman arts"
- As with the other schools, spiritual spellcasting level is calculated separately, so those like Fluder who study three schools are presumed to have classes that raise several schools at once
Notes
Other sources interpret the "Spiritual System" as talisman or psychic-type magic.
