Third Battle of Carne Village
Vol. 9, January–February of Year 2 after the transfer (during the Katze Plains campaign): First Prince Barbro led a 5,000-strong detachment against Carne Village, which owed Ainz a debt; Enri blew the second "Horn of the Goblin General", summoning a goblin army of over 5,000 that crushed them.
- King Ramposa III ordered First Prince Barbro to lead a 5,000-strong detachment to Carne Village; Barbro, believing his father had sidelined him, was anxious and frustrated
- Barbro wanted to use Carne Village's villagers as bargaining chips with Ainz, and when they refused, declared that "Carne Village has committed treason" and ordered an attack
- At first the Kingdom's army held overwhelming superiority in numbers and individual ability
- Enri blew the second "Horn of the Goblin General" Ainz had given her; because certain conditions were met, it summoned not the usual 19 but a goblin army of over 5,000
- Once the goblin army appeared, the Kingdom's army suffered heavy losses and fled in rout
- Barbro was tortured to death by Lupusregina, who suddenly appeared while he was fleeing; since his body was never found, the Kingdom treats him as "missing"
- After the battle the goblin army stayed in the village, and Carne Village grew into a settlement of about 5,000 with Enri as chieftain, belonging to the Sorcerer Kingdom
