8th Tier
A mythical realm whose very existence almost no one in the New World knows; under the seven-levels-per-tier theory it corresponds to levels 50–56.
- Signature spell: 〈Energy Drain〉 — a necromantic touch spell that temporarily drains the target's levels and saddles them with a level loss that does not fade over time
- 〈Death〉 (instant death) and 〈Dimensional Lock〉 (prevents teleporting out of the area; Ainz cast it from a scroll in Vol. 16)
- Reconnaissance divination such as 〈Remote Viewing〉 and 〈Planar Eye〉; 〈Astral Smite〉 is effective against incorporeal beings
- 〈Aspect of Elemental〉: druid magic that nullifies many status ailments such as poison and disease, as well as critical hits
- In the side story The Vampire Princess of the Lost Country, some locals have reached the 8th tier
- 〈Wave of Pain〉, 〈Insanity〉 and 〈Distort Moral〉 (effective against those with high karma) appear in Ainz's spell list in Vol. 13
- 〈Explode〉: makes the target burst from within (Web novel)
- Special techniques with the same effect as Dimensional Lock are racial abilities of otherworldly beings such as demons and angels, able to block teleportation magic throughout the surrounding area
