Wands and Staves

Reusable consumable items with spells sealed in advance; their power and duration are lower than when cast by a caster directly.
- Duration is about half, and power about three-quarters, of the spell cast by a caster of the corresponding level
- Wands can only be used by those able to cast spells of that system (arcane, divine, etc.); exceptions like resurrection wands can be used by anyone
- Staves are not restricted by system but cost more
- A resurrection wand holds a 7th-tier resurrection spell; Ainz used one to revive the Martial King
- Using the ring for wielding wands, Ainz used a [True Resurrection] wand he could not normally use to revive Neia (Vol. 13)
- New World wands cost less per use than scrolls, so buying wands is cheaper for frequently used healing spells
- YGGDRASIL-made wands are about 30 cm long, gold-tipped with ivory shafts and runes carved into the grip, giving off a holy aura (4-280)
- The resurrection wand holds a 7th-tier resurrection spell (1-281) and belongs to the exception category usable by anyone (4-426)
- The ring for wielding wands can enable only one wand of another system at a time and cannot be switched for 1 hour afterward (13-145)
