Fall of the Re-Estize Kingdom
Using the attack on its food convoy as a pretext, the Sorcerer Kingdom declared war on the Kingdom, took the royal capital and destroyed the Kingdom; Ainz then took the twins to the Elf Country, where the Elf King was killed by the Extra Seat, and Ainz decided to attack the Slane Theocracy.
- The Kingdom noble Philip attacked the Sorcerer Kingdom's food convoy for the Holy Kingdom, which became the pretext for war; the declared start date itself was a deception, as the Sorcerer Kingdom army had secretly already invaded the east and north
- The Argland Council State's only help was the attempted assassination of the Sorcerer King (actually Pandora's Actor in disguise) by the Platinum Dragon Lord and Azuth of Red Drop, which failed
- The royal capital fell in about half a month, and King Ramposa III was found dead in the throne room (the original does not describe how; from the circumstances he is presumed to have been killed by Renner, unverified); Renner and Climb joined Nazarick, and Blue Rose fled abroad
- Ainz ordered a purge of the Kingdom's remaining territory, and the royal capital is to be preserved forever as rubble, "the fate of fools"; Marquis Raeven's domain of E-Rebel is temporarily administered by him
- Ainz then entered the Great Forest of Evasha with Aura and Mare as the dark elf "Ain Bell Fior" and became acquainted with the dark elf village
- The Theocracy's army attacked the elf capital; Ainz infiltrated the royal castle and fought Elf King Decem, who fled and was killed by the Extra Seat (Antilene) (who "killed him once more"); the Extra Seat then fought the pursuing Mare, was captured by him, and taken to Nazarick's Frozen Prison
- From Antilene's memories Ainz learned that Shalltear's brainwashing was the Slane Theocracy's doing, summoned Albedo, and decided to destroy the Slane Theocracy (Vol. 16, as of July 2022)
- In Vol. 14 the Sorcerer Kingdom faced the Kingdom's 400,000-strong army with about 10,000 undead
Notes
The time elapsed between Vol. 13 and Vol. 14 is not made clear in the text; sources estimate at most about two years (years 3–5 after the transfer).
