Angel
Summoned monsters believed to come from other worlds; the Slane Theocracy believes they serve the gods, while most other nations treat them as ordinary summons.
- Slightly stronger than monsters summoned by spells of the same tier, with various special abilities and spells.
- Heavy damage reduction against non-magical attacks (weapons not of specific materials); good matchup against evil beings.
- The Kingdom's priests assert that angels are merely a type of summoned monster.
- The lowest race is "Angel", switched to in YGGDRASIL with an "Ascension Feather"; Victim has races including Angel and Archangel.
- Summoned angels from low to high include Guardian Angel, Archangel Flame, Principality, Dominion, Cherub, Seraph, and others.
- Like demons, they cannot use false names.
- Summoned angel examples: the Guardian Angel summoned at 2nd tier, the Principality of Peace summoned at 4th tier (can use low-tier divine magic, mass calming, etc.) (12-077); the level-80s gatekeeper cherub has a lion's face and four wings, an excellent tank skilled at detection (10-085)
- Archangel Flame is written "Archangel" yet is not called an archangel; Victim's racial levels are Angel 10 and Archangel (end of Vol. 6)
Notes
The Sunlight Scripture relied on summoned angels as its main force and was defeated by Ainz outside Carne Village in Vol. 1.
