Great Forest of Tob

A vast forest surrounding the southern end of the Azerlisia Mountains, about 120 km east–west and 40 km north–south (Web novel figures), home to demi-humans such as lizardmen and goblins and many monsters.
- About 4,800 km² in area, roughly a fifth of the Kingdom's human living area (Web novel figures)
- Between the forest and the mountains lies a lake shaped like "a gourd lying on its side"; toadmen live on its north shore, and the southern wetlands hold the settlements of the five lizardman tribes
- In the light novel three great powers stand in balance: the "Wise King of the Forest" (Hamsuke) in the south, "Guu" in the east and "Ryraryus" in the west; Carne Village was protected by lying within the Wise King of the Forest's territory
- Once ruled by dark elves, who moved south because of the demon tree Zy'tl Q'ae; the demon tree, which fell from the sky centuries ago, was sealed in its depths
- By Vol. 11 most of the forest's surface is under Nazarick's control, though the great underground cavern has not yet been dealt with
- The dark elves who ruled here about 300 years ago moved to the Great Forest of Evasha because of the demon tree Zy'tl Q'ae; the Web novel says a "Demon Tree Dragon Lord" is sealed in the forest, presumed to be Zy'tl Q'ae
- Aura was ordered to build a fake Nazarick in the forest (Vols. 2–4)
