Karma value
A value representing a character's good or evil, which affects the effects of some spells and skills.
- 〈Uriel〉: deals full damage only when karma is at its positive maximum; at karma −500 its damage is below a 1st-tier spell's
- 〈Holy Smite〉 and 〈Shining Burst〉 deal more damage to targets with lower (more evil) karma
- Warrior Takemikazuchi's 〈Acalanatha〉: 〈Kurikara Sword〉 grows stronger against opponents with lower karma
- Yamaiko's super-tier spell 〈Judgement of Osiris〉 pushes targets with negative karma further negative; in boss fights during the guild era, Yamaiko used it in combination with Bukubukuchagama's skill 〈Sacrifice〉 (driving the karma of those who attack her to the extreme) to drastically lower a boss's karma, and Warrior Takemikazuchi then unleashed his "Myo-o Combo"
- Karma ranges are expressed as alignments such as "extremely good," "neutral" and "extremely evil"; for example, Sebas is extremely good (karma 300) and Ainz is −500
- Karma table in Japanese sources: Buser is slightly positive, Vijar neither good nor evil, Nasrene and Halisha quite low; Kyouhukou −10, Neuronist −425
