Lizardman Villages
The lizardman tribes of the great wetland south of the "inverted gourd-shaped lake" in the Great Forest of Tob; five tribes as of Vol. 4, which united against Nazarick and are now ruled by Cocytus.
- There were originally seven tribes, but a tribal war over food shortages two years earlier saw the defeated "Yellow Speckle" and "Sharp Edge" disband and merge into others, leaving five (Vol. 4)
- The five tribes: "Green Claw" (chief Shasuryu), "Small Fang" (Sukyu Juju), "Razor Tail" (Kyuku Zuzu), "Red Eye" (acting chief Crusch), and "Dragon Tusk" (Zenberu)
- A strict hierarchy: chief, council of elders, warriors, ordinary males and females, juveniles; priests (druids), hunters (rangers), and travelers sit outside the hierarchy; they revere ancestral spirits rather than gods
- They neither farm nor herd, living on fish about 80 cm long; after returning from his travels, Zaryusu began fish farming
- Four Treasures: White Dragon Bone Armor, Frost Pain, the Great Wine Jar, and one said to be held by the "Twin Witches of the Swamp"
- Combatants: 429 warriors, 26 priests, 45 hunters, 491 males, 389 females, 5 chiefs, 1 traveler—1,386 in total
- After the war they are ruled by Cocytus; the Razor Tail village became the united village, with fish farms and a stone statue of Ainz
Notes
Lizardmen are counted with the counter for people, not animals (specially noted).
