Brita

Former iron-class adventurer, captain of the Carne Village vigilance corps · Re-Estize Kingdom · Human · Lv Unknown
Personality
A red-haired, bird's-nest-headed, tanned female warrior—more "warrior" than woman. Frugal and sensible, she saves to buy potions to protect her life, and is earnest by nature; she also has the nerve to demand compensation from Momon and swing her sword at a vampire.
Abilities
- Can use both sword and bow; equipped with an iron sword, banded armor and a bow
- After moving to Carne Village she trains under Lachmon, the village's resident ranger
- Not as strong as the goblin Jugem, but among the top fighters in Carne Village
History
- At the inn, the potion she scrimped to buy is smashed by a man Momon throws; she gets a red potion as compensation and takes it to Lizzie to appraise, which leads to the Bareare family's contact with Momon (Vol. 2)
- While scouting a bandit hideout she encounters Shalltear and her team is nearly wiped out, but when she throws the red potion Momon gave her, Shalltear stops attacking on seeing it and her life is spared (Vol. 3; claims that the potion damaged Shalltear or that Shalltear was under mind control are unverified)
- After this terrifying experience (reportedly she couldn't sleep without medicine) she retires from adventuring (the novel says only that she retired "after various things happened"; the exact reason isn't written) and moves to Carne Village to serve as captain of the vigilance corps (Vol. 8)
- Was in the village when the First Prince's army attacked Carne Village (Vol. 9, unverified)
Trivia
In the Web novel she was called "Baniara," a name like a sweet; the Web novel has her become an adventurer after her village was destroyed by monsters.
