Clementine

Former Ninth Seat of the Black Scripture, "Swift Runner"; one of the Twelve High Disciples of the secret society Zurrernorn · Slane Theocracy · Human · Lv Unknown
Personality
A sadist who delights in torturing the weak to death, claiming she was simply born a monster and that it has nothing to do with her upbringing. She likes to mock others in a drawling tone, but this is mostly an act; when she loses her composure she reverts to her natural way of speaking. She is no fool, is good at analysing a battle, and never begged for her life even at the end.
Abilities
- In the author's "strength order" (as of Vol. 6), her Black Scripture self was the strongest warrior to have appeared so far; after defecting she is weaker than a fully equipped Gazef but still stronger than Hamsuke, Gazef (not fully equipped) and Brain, having reached the Realm of Heroes
- A light warrior specialised in thrusting, whose main weapons are about four mithril stilettos plated with orichalcum; spells can be stored in them in advance and released once on a hit (known ones: Charm Person, Lightning, Fireball)
- Her martial arts include Impregnable Fortress, Flowing Water Acceleration, Swift Runner, Greater Evasion, Ability Boost and Greater Ability Boost
- Her armour is studded with the plates of adventurers she has killed (every rank except adamantite collected), and her sidearm is a morning star she is not good with
History
- From the Slane Theocracy, she was once the Ninth Seat of the Black Scripture (her epithet presumed to be "Swift Runner", Vol. 10); her elder brother is presumed to be the Fifth Seat Quaiesse (regarded as settled among readers, though the original never states it); she later defected and stole the sacred treasure "Crown of Wisdom" (Vol. 2)
- Joins the secret society Zurrernorn and conspires with the High Disciple Khajiit to perform the "Spiral of Death" ritual in E-Rantel (Vol. 2)
- Kidnaps Nfirea and puts the Crown of Wisdom on him, and slaughters the adventurer team "Swords of Darkness" (Vol. 2)
- Duels Momon in the cemetery; her fatal strike has no effect, and after learning his true identity is Ainz she is crushed to death alive in his arms, never begging for her life (Vol. 2)
- Her body is handed over to the Adventurers' Guild and placed in a morgue with anti-teleportation measures, but by the next morning it has mysteriously vanished (Vol. 3)
Trivia
Her name derives from a word meaning "lenient, merciful" - the exact opposite of her nature.
