Doppelgänger
A heteromorphic species that can copy and transform into others' appearances; the race of Narberal and Pandora's Actor.
- True form: a pink (or yellow) head smooth as an egg, with only three black holes for a face; four fingers with a fourth joint.
- They can copy an appearance down to clothing and gear; each racial level grants one transformable appearance.
- In the setting they can read a conversation partner's surface thoughts while transformed to aid their acting, and after the transfer this actually works; it counts as a mental attack, can be resisted, and cannot peer into memories.
- Monster doppelgängers can copy abilities up to about level 40 and are weak before transforming; they cannot use items of Legacy class or above.
- Greater Doppelgänger: can transform up to level 60, copying 90% of abilities and disguising HP; Pandora is Doppelgänger 15 + Greater Doppelgänger 10 and can transform into the Forty-One Supreme Beings.
