Vol. 14, sometime in Years 3–5 after the transfer: with Cocytus as supreme commander, the Sorcerer Kingdom stormed the Re-Estize capital, killing nearly all its residents (unverified); the capital was burned flat except for the royal palace, and the Kingdom fell.

Before the decisive battle, the Kingdom gathered nobles near the capital, prisoners, and others into a 400,000-strong army, which was annihilated by commander Cocytus and his second Mare about an hour after acting regent Zanac was killed by traitors
A few days later the Sorcerer Kingdom's army deployed before the capital; the next day Shalltear was ordered to evacuate 1,000 Eight Fingers associates

After the battle Guren was ordered to burn everything in the capital except the royal palace, and the Sorcerer Kingdom's army advanced to destroy the Kingdom's remaining territory; Marquis Raeven and the nobles of his faction had an audience with the Sorcerer King in the capital

Notes

The Japanese sources' timeline records that before the siege, about 5% of the capital's residents (those with connections) had already fled west.
