Frost Dragon

A dragon species with a long, snake-like body living in the northern Azerlisia Mountains; completely immune to cold but weak to fire.
- Their scales start pale blue-white and turn frost-white as they grow.
- Complete cold resistance and weakness to fire; their cold breath strengthens with growth.
- They are born able to use arcane magic without study, but know very few spells: even Olasird'arc, who became a Dragon Lord, can only use three 3rd-tier spells.
- The frost dragon clan occupied the royal castle of Feo Berkana, the dwarves' old capital: the father, "White Dragon Lord" Olasird'arc (Lv46), three consorts, and about 16 offspring.
- The consort Kilistran is the only dragon in the mountains able to use divine magic (1st tier); her eldest son Hejinmal immediately grasped Ainz's power and submitted.
- In Vol. 11 Olasird'arc was killed by Ainz, and the remaining frost dragons submitted to the Sorcerer Kingdom.
- They vie for supremacy in the mountains with frost giants.
- Olasird'arc's racial levels: Dragonling 10/Young 10/Adult 10/Elder 5/Ancient 1, with the remaining 10 presumed Old, totaling 46 (end of Vol. 11)
- The three consorts: Kilistran (mother of 4), the youngest Mianatalon with a single long horn, and Munuinia, taken as consort after fiercely fighting Olasird'arc over territory at the dwarves' western city Feo Teiwaz (11-355–359); Munuinia's son Torangealit is the strongest of the offspring, and the anime makes him the dragon who defied Ainz and was killed in Vol. 11
- Olasird'arc schemed to build a dragon empire based in the dwarven royal castle, enslaving the Quagoa living there and making them offer precious metals; his treasure was mostly native gold, and behind the throne stood a giant gate made by rune smiths that no attack could open, which he only used to sharpen his claws (11-353, 11-395)
- Frost giants also have complete cold resistance, so the frost dragons' trump card, cold breath, is totally useless against them (11-355)
Notes
YGGDRASIL also has "Ancient Frost Dragons" living in Jotunheim, whose meat was served to Enri's group as marbled steak (Vol. 8).
