Floor 4: Underground Lake
A floor with a dim underground lake; its Floor Guardian is the siege golem Gargantua, submerged in the lake. Details are almost entirely undisclosed.
- Barely described beyond the dark underground lake, in which the Floor Guardian Gargantua lies submerged
- Gargantua is a "strategic-class siege golem" that exists within YGGDRASIL's game rules (not guild-made), over 30 m tall; usable only in sieges and not for base defense, it had nowhere to go, so it was sunk in the underground lake and given Guardian status; in raw strength it surpasses Shalltear (3-178)
- During the war with the lizardmen in Vol. 4, Gargantua was mobilized to show the lizardmen Nazarick's might; it threw boulders to set the stage, and that was the end of its appearance
- Vol. 14 mentions that the 4th floor also has an Area Guardian (whether it actually exists is unclear from context)
