Theocracy - Elf War

法国とエルフの王国の戦争（終盤） · World & History · Battles & Events

Vols. 15–16, sometime in Years 3–5 after the transfer: the Slane Theocracy, long at war with the Elf Kingdom, committed the Fire Extinction Scripture and launched an all-out assault that took the elven capital; Elf King Decem was killed by the Extra Seat, but the spoils were seized by the Sorcerer Kingdom, which had secretly intervened.

• For the war's origins (the Elf King abducting and violating the Theocracy's trump-card woman, leading to the birth of the Extra Seat), see the history timeline entry "The Elf King's Crime and the Theocracy–Elf War"; the Elf Kingdom once cooperated with the Theocracy, then betrayed it and has fought it for a long time
• The Elf Kingdom is inferior to the Theocracy in nearly every respect, holding the line only through its skill at guerrilla warfare and because the Theocracy slowed its advance out of wariness of the Great Forest of Evasha's monsters
• Once the Theocracy committed the guerrilla-warfare specialists of the Fire Extinction Scripture, it advanced rapidly, establishing a forward base near the capital, originally planning to destroy the Elf Kingdom within a few years
• Decem sent his daughter Rugi to the front; Rugi, who single-handedly killed nearly 1,000 Theocracy soldiers, was killed by Fire Extinction Scripture vice-captain Schoen, and Decem appeared and killed Schoen with "Behemoth" (a Primal Earth Elemental)
• When Theocracy reinforcements arrived, an all-out assault broke the elven capital; meanwhile Ainz slipped into the royal castle with Aura and Mare and fought Decem on the floor below the treasury
• The fleeing Decem was killed twice by the Extra Seat Antilene, who was then captured by Mare, and the treasury's contents were also seized by the Sorcerer Kingdom
• From Antilene's memories Ainz learned that Shalltear's brainwashing was the Theocracy's doing, and resolved to destroy the Slane Theocracy

Notes

The Elf King wants to take back his child, the Extra Seat, and if she is a daughter, to have her bear his children (from Vol. 11).
