Personality
An overconfident, ambitious incompetent utterly lacking in self-awareness. Extremely proud, he always thinks others can't even come up with such simple things, yet in reality can only devise ideas that don't even rise to armchair theory. He fantasizes about manipulating the Sorcerous Kingdom and marrying Albedo, and among readers has become a byword for "an idiot who thinks he's clever."

- Wears full plate armor gifted by Hilma; it carries defensive enchantments but no weight reduction, so it is very heavy for him
History
- Third son of a minor noble house; when his second brother dies of illness and his eldest brother is killed in the Katze Plains massacre, he unexpectedly becomes heir and is overjoyed (Vol. 10)
- At the banquet for the Sorcerous Kingdom's envoy Albedo he approaches her himself, and with Hilma's arrangements forms a new faction made up of second and third sons (Vol. 10)
- After inheriting the house he recklessly reforms his domain, lowering food production and earning his subjects' contempt (Vol. 14)
- Together with Barons Delvi and Rokirlen he raids the Sorcerous Kingdom's food convoy bound to aid the Holy Kingdom, triggering the Sorcerous Kingdom's declaration of war on and destruction of the Kingdom (Vol. 14)
- While hiding in his mansion he is "dealt with" by Albedo, who comes in person, along with the two barons and his subjects; Vol. 15 hints that he is still being "cared for" by Albedo in the Frozen Prison (Vols. 14–15)
Trivia
While the geniuses were baffled by his outrageous act, only Ainz, an ordinary man, guessed the truth by ordinary-person logic.
