Elf

A human species living in forests, with long pointed ears and far longer lives than humans; their hearing is better than humans'.
- In YGGDRASIL's setting their lifespan is about 1,000 years, growing quickly in the first ten and aging quickly in the last ten (Ainz's vague memory).
- They trade with humans; the Slane Theocracy and the Elf Kingdom are at war, and captured elves have their minds thoroughly broken before reaching buyers, flowing into the Empire and elsewhere; in the Web novel their ears are cut halfway as a slave mark (in the light novels Erya's elf slaves also had their ears cut, later healed by Pestonya)
- The Elf Kingdom lies in the Great Forest of Evasha, ruled by Elf King Decem Hougan.
- Human species can interbreed: half-elves are elf-human hybrids; the Extra Seat looks to be in her teens but is actually over a hundred.
- Wild elves were originally ordinary elves whose culture and bodies changed after moving to the grasslands (light novels; name only).
- Elves trade with humans, while dark elves have no contact with them; in the light novels elves have better hearing than humans
- There is no racial "elves vs dwarves" feud in the work, but sources note that in some places they seem to be at odds for some reason
Notes
The Web novel called forest elves "wood elves"; the setting was adjusted for the light novels.
