Nazarick Surface Area
A chaotic graveyard 200 m square surrounded by thick 6 m walls; the giant mausoleum at its center is the entrance to the Great Tomb, guarded by eight 6 m statues of armed warriors.
- About 200 m square, guarded by thick 6 m walls, with two entrances, a front gate and a back gate; medium-sized mausoleums stand at the north, south, east, and west
- The giant central mausoleum is the entrance underground, surrounded by eight 6 m statues of armed warriors (10 m in the Web novel)
- A stone tablet at the statues' feet reads "Talos ver2.0 — if you want to move it, contact me, the one who paid"; in the light novels Arche had no decryption magic and could only read "2.0" (Arabic numerals are shared between reality and the New World)
- Undead guards, the "Nazarick Old Guarders", are stationed on the surface: about 3,000 in the light novels (6,000 in the Web novel), level 18, hidden beneath the ground
- After the transfer a single-story log cabin was built outside the surface area as the first stop for receiving guests and enemies, staffed by the Pleiades in daily rotation
Notes
In Vol. 7, Foresight and the other workers broke in through the central mausoleum on the surface.
