Re-Estize Kingdom

A feudal human nation founded after the Evil Deities' upheaval. It held the safest, most fertile land of all the human nations, yet slid toward ruin through noble corruption and infighting, and was destroyed by the Sorcerer Kingdom in Vol. 14.
- Capital: the royal capital Re-Estize (royal castle Ro-Lente, 1,400 m in circumference, with 20 cylindrical towers); located west of the Azerlisia Mountains
- Ruler: King Ramposa III (reigned 39 years, age 60, of the royal house of Vaiself); population about 9 million, living area about 24,000 km²
- Government: feudal; the crown directly rules about 30% of the land, the Six Great Nobles together 30%, and other nobles 40%; the nobles are split into royal and noble factions in long-standing conflict
- Magic is looked down upon and magical knowledge is not part of general education; the Magician's Guild receives almost no state support; the nation boasts Gazef, the strongest warrior in the region
- The criminal organization Eight Fingers controls the underworld, and its drug "Lyra Powder" even flows into the Empire
- Key events: annual wars with the Empire on the Katze Plains → the Gehenna incident in the royal capital → the Massacre at Katze Plains and the cession of E-Rantel → the fall of the royal capital and of the Kingdom in Vol. 14
- Five Treasures: Gauntlet of Vitality, Amulet of Immortality, Guardian armor, Razor Edge, and so on (the fifth is unknown)
- Zanac's character profile in Vol. 14: had Nazarick never appeared, Barbro died, and Zanac, Marquis Raeven, Renner and Gazef truly cooperated, the Kingdom could have withstood the Empire and become a strong nation
- The crown's direct domain is 30% of the land (including E-Rantel); "Warrior Captain" is a post the king created because the nobles opposed knighting Gazef, and his elite direct subordinates are called "warriors" rather than "soldiers"
- Trade in the nation's own people as slaves was once widespread in the Kingdom; at Renner's urging it was abolished on the surface, but workarounds such as taking people away as collateral for debts remain; the Kingdom's family registers are badly out of date, reportedly with tens of thousands of errors
- Major cities: the great port city of Re-Lobel (with a sea route to the Holy Kingdom), the northern port city of E-Naiul, the mining city of Re-Blumrush (with gold and mythril mines), the northernmost naval port of Re-Urovahl, and others (some affiliations are speculation)
Notes
Reader analysis: the names of the Kingdom's major cities correspond to the surnames of the Six Great Nobles (e.g. E-Rebel → Marquis Raeven), but the original does not state this.
